Holy Attitude Batman!

We had SUCH a loooooooong day today!!

Started out the day jumping on the 8am bus over to my aunt's place to watch my cousin for a couple hours and take him to school. After that we jumped on the bus again and went to town. I did a little bit of shopping at one of our liquidator stores that gets some really cool scrappy stuff...did someone say RAKs??? Make sure you're watching the Sassy Scrappers board, you never know when I may decide to spread the goodness!!

After that we went to the Income Assistance office and dropped off some paper work. Now I am just waiting for a phone call to make an appointment with the Persons with Persistent Multiple Barriers (Disability1) worker. I hope it is not the one disability worker we have always had problems with...she is just so rude, and uncaring, and gives me the dirtiest looks everytime I walk through that door. Me!! I still have my kid, I don't drink or do drugs, I RARELY need extra money (usually I ask my parents first anyways, lol). and I DON'T abuse the system!! I take care of myself and Austin, and I do a damned good job of it, so WHAT is her problem with ME????

Anyways....dropped the papers off, tried to see my mom at work but it was lunch time and the place was locked up. So, we stopped and grabbed a couple bottles of water....and missed the bus we were planning to catch out to Cobble Hill to the LSS. Crap!!

At this point I am thinking we should just go home...Austin ran and hid with his new book when we had to leave the store. He laid on the floor of the Assistance office until some total stranger {guy} came over and grabbed his other hand and said to him "now, you're mom is a nice wonderful person, you should be good to her and get up, it's time to go" {nice!!!} then he helped me pull him up...to his knees and he started walking towards the door on his knees! So, the guy helped me to pull him to his feet, but he bent his legs and pulled his feet up under him. FINALLY he put his feet down and started walking...no, running...toward the door! Soooo embarassed! So, then we're in the store getting the bottles of water. He is flinging himself all over the floor, crawling between peoples legs, pushing his way through them, climbing on the bars between the two lineups. So I am trying to hold him, with a heavy bag in one hand, and the lady in front of us can't even make enough room on the counter for me to put down my 2 measly bottles of water. Finally we get out of there, and we watch the bus drive by! Arrrghhhh!!!!

Well, we had half an hour to wait whether we went home, or decided to still go to the LSS...we went to the LSS, lol!! We didn't stay long, just long enough to grab a couple things that I KNEW I wanted. And off we went on the bus back to town. We had another half hour to wait before our bus home so we went and got some milk. WELL!! Off he goes again, soon as we walk in the door, doesn't want to walk so he sits on the floor, finally gets up and starts running in the opposite direction. Back at the busstop he was running around playing tag with some girls...up until now I had been trying to keep some control over him, but I was so exhausted I just let him play. We got on the bus, with him kicking and screaming that he wanted to play tag...didn't want to get OFF the bus when we got to our stop. BUT, finally he walked nicely home with me from there, came in the house and asked me for a bottle and to lie down on my bed. I let him, I didn't have it in me to fight with him for the next two hours until bed time. So, he napped, and I didn't care! I care now, sine it is 10pm and he has JUST gone to sleep, but at that moment I needed a break, and if him sleeping was the only way I was gonna get it, so be it!!

Now it's he's finally asleep and it's time to scrap...maybe! We'll see! LOL!!

Here's what I've done the last couple nights for some challenges at a crop on Scrappin' Mojo! LOVING the round pages right now, not sure why, but I've got another one in the works. Also LOVING the Making Memories Noteworthy line! YUM YUM!!!!

Thank you Amy!!

For fixing up my blog for me, LOVE the wider format!!! Now just need to fix me up a new banner!

So, things are going better now, it may be somewhat twisted, but I have been happy to learn that I am NOT the only one who has had issues with Frankie and not the only one to have received nasty emails full of cuss words! YAY!! LOL! I have also been able to reconnect with some people during all of this which is awesome, cause I love ALL my scrappy sistas!!

Everyone should come and check out Sassy Scrappers and have some fun with us!! And don't forget to check out our blog too!

I took Austin for a haircut yesterday...finally! I was quite impressed with him, he sat so well! He has never sat in the chair before, the place I usually take him to the guy has he me stand holding him on my hip. So glad he is big enough to go in the chair and sit still now...he is getting to big to e carrying around on my hip! LOL!! Here are some photos of my big boy...haircut day is always so depressing, I always realize how much bigger he is getting and how fast he is getting there!!

Setting the Record Straight!

So, I have had the most screwed up week this week, starting on the weekend. This is going to be long, but I want the whole story out there so no one can accuse me of anything I have not done! This is the honest to goodness truth as far as my involvement in anything. This is not meant to bash anyone, or any site, but I feel I have done nothing wrong, and yet, I am getting a great deal of negative comments, messages and emails. I am going to post names....I said I want to get the truth out there, and I don't feel I can do that without naming names!

Here goes...

On Saturday night there was some kind of glitch on the Priceless Scrapbooks site. We had been working on setting up a new message board, had put a lot of work into it and the whole thing was somehow deleted. As well, a few members accounts were misteriously deleted from the original board. No one seems to know what happened, but it upset a great number of people, especially one in particular whose account had been deleted. Frankie jumped to conclusions and posted some nasty remarks about the situation at MMFY. She also made some accusations about who had been involved with "banning" her (even though the had not been banned at all) and also accused myself and Amy of recruiting members of MMFY to come to Priceless Scrapbooks. Neither of us had done any such thing!

Amy and I were discussing the problems with the Priceless Scrapbooks site and we decided to start a new board of our own. Meanwhile, Amy was trying to get in to MMFY to prove to Frankie she had not been on her site in a long time, and therefor had not recruited anyone from there. She was unable to log in to her account. She tried requesting her password and emailing administrator, and nothing was done, she was locked out.

I spent the last few days in the middle of the situation between Frankie and Amy. I thought it had finally been dropped and forgotten. This morning I got a message from Frankie, asking if Amy and I had indeed set up a new site, and if she could have the link to it. I told her I wanted to check with Amy first as she was still unable to get into MMFY. I copied and pasted two messages I had sent to Amy, and one message Amy had sent to me, to show her what had been happening. She had been insisting Amy was not banned, and Amy had kept trying to get into the site and was still unsuccesful. In return to my perfectly calm and pleasant message to Frankie, I received a response full of the most foul, vile language I had ever seen from any adult person. I was shocked, and I was angry. I had not done anything wrong, I had been perfectly polite, pleasant, even had told Frankie if Amy was ok with it I would love to have her at the new site. I did not deserve to be subjected to that! So, I will admit, I responded with a somewhat foul message of my own, and told her while she was gone to "really ban" Amy, she had might as well do that same to me, that there was no way I was going to be putting up with being spoken to in that way.

I went out for the day, and ya know, I was ok with how things had turned out. Not happy of course, it was not a pleasant situation, but I had accepted it, had no regrets, and was moving on.

This evening I received an email saying I had a message at MMFY. Of course, Frankie had de-activated my account and I could not log in to read it. The email did tell me who the message was from though, so I tracked Melanie down at another site I knew she went to and sent her a message explaining I could not get in to read her message and what did it say. I was informed that "I" had posted a message on her latest gallery entry at MMFY saying "This is UGLY, why would you share this?" For the second time today I was in total shock at what I was reading. Melanie happens to be one of my favorite scrappers, I have LOVED everything I have ever seen of hers. Besides that, I have NEVER posted any comments on ANYTHING in the MMFY gallery. I honestly do not feel comfortable leaving comments on anyone else's work, don't know why, just one of my many quirks :) So, I don't know how someone got into my account to post a comment under my name, only assumptions. But I will tell you I am LIVID!

I'd like to say to Melanie, and anyone else who may have experienced any rude comments left on my behalf in the MMFY gallery...no matter who you are, what your scrapping style is, I have never, will never, leave any negative comments on anyone's work. We are all in this hobby to create keepsakes for our families, there is nothing negative to be said about that, no matter what the final product looks like. I would also like to say that I am very, truly sorry that you have been dragged into the middle of this, it is completely unfair, not to mention immature.

If you have any questions for me, please leave a comment below and I will get back to you.

Thank you...truth is freeing!

Toot! Toot!

Well, along with my Guest Digi DT position at Making Memories for You came a featured spot in the premier issue of the Ezine! We got an awesome Valentine's kit from MadScrapper Designs and all our work done with it was featured in the ezine. On top of that I also had two other digi layouts, a card, and a photo published in the Ezine! Very exciting!

Here are my layouts done with Mad Scrapper's That Lovin' Feeling Kit:

Dog days and Snow days!

Well, our dog is indeed back home...with Brian at least! I am sooooooo relieved! Last Tuesday Austin and I went out and spent the night at his place and had a good visit with him and Socks. Tried to get some good photos of Austin and Socks, but it didn't go so well, not the most willing of models, lol!! I did get these though...

We had a little bit of snow the other day...a whole MAYBE two inches, lol! But, it was enough to get Austin excited and had him beggin me to go out and play...and build a snowman. So, we bundled up and out we went! The little goofball lies down in the snow and starts moving his legs and says to me "Ausin make snow angels" I just about fell over, I am assuming he picked that up from Little Bear or some other cartoon 'cause I sure never showed him how to do it! LOL!! Got some cut shots of him...and our FABULOUS snowman!
